Humble Beginnings...

Virginia Meals on Wheels opened it’s doors in 2002, serving 10 elderly and 120 children every week. Currently Our main kitchen is preparing and delivering 170 meals every Thursday in Virginia and Hennenman to elderly in need.
 

Meals on Wheels Community Vegetable Garden

In co-operation with the Matjhabeng Parks department and Virginia Correctional Services we started a vegetable garden. From this vegetable garden we can plant and harvest vegetables that would otherwise cost a lot of money at the markets.
 
 

In co-operation with...

Every Tuesday we are partnering with Ebeneezer Community Outreach Center to serve up to 100 meals to people seeking for employment. We are planning with the Virginia SAPS to create a vegetable garden where these people can produce food for their families and possibly turn the vegetable gardening into businesses planting and selling vegetables from their homes.
